Examples of of Our Work
D&P represents a broad range of clients and the work that we do for them varies from government relations, community relations, philanthropic advising and public affairs. Below are just a few examples of some projects we've done for our clients.
D&P works with Comcast on a myriad of projects. We ensure their legislative priorities are heard on the Hill and the Administration through direct lobbying, issue advocacy, coalition building, and third party outreach. We help Comcast partner with the LGBT, Latino and Asian communities by creating strategic philanthropic giving plans that are tied to their business objectives. Part of this work includes collaboration with Comcast on the creation of public service announcements (PSAs) to advance awareness of key issues and developments affecting Latinos. Featuring Members of Congress and entertainers, the PSAs have highlighted the work of leading Latino organizations such as the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), National Council of La Raza (NCLR), National Association of Latino Elected Officials (NALEO) and Mexican American Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF). The PSAs have highlighted CHCI’s leadership education programs for Latino students and professionals, informing the public about the transition to DTV (digital transition), Get Out the Vote campaigns targeting communities of color and PSAs encouraging participation in the 2010 Census.
